Is it true that a relationship does not mean Love ?

I ask this because I am the one who have spent quite 2 years and a half with my boyfriend. (Actually, I am almost a middle-age guy, and my BF is just 25 years old cute guy)





We spent a lot of times together. We shared each other a lot. But one day, I just knew that I was not his specifications at all. And he was kind of trying to dump me.





In fact, we do not have sex together yet. But we still went out together. We learned and we tried to keep our relationship.





And I knew from him that relationship does not mean LOVE ... Is it true ?Is it true that a relationship does not mean Love ?
that is definitely true,i would say the majority of relationships are not true love,because of lust,sex,money,a place to live,convenience,fear of being alone,pressure,kids,and even repetition...sorry for the bad news
