Is it true that Levi's Red Jeans are not meant to be washed?

I bought my jeans years ago but never wore them. Now that I have to wash them I remember someone saying that Levi's ';Red'; is not supposed to be washed but dry cleaned. I guess the finish of the jean comes off or something and messes up your other clothes if you wash it. Can anyone deny or verify this?Is it true that Levi's Red Jeans are not meant to be washed?
you can for your self. every artical of clothing has care instructions o the tag, it will say weather to machine wash or dry clean. go check the tag.Is it true that Levi's Red Jeans are not meant to be washed?
I'm not sure but if you don't want the colour to wash out you should soak the jeans (or any clothes) in salt water over night before you wash them. Check the washing instructions on the tag to see if it's dry clean only.
I can verify it. You cannot wash them unfortunetely because the red coloring comes off the jeans
probably. itll ruin it if you wash it like the threads will come out
