Does anybody know the true meaning of skint.?

I am not asking for the oxford dictionary definition I would just like to hear from real people who know what it is like to be Brassic.I work with people everyday who claim poverty but can still go on Ebay and Buy It Now..............you know who you are and you know what I mean...answers please..no postcards cos u cant afford the stampDoes anybody know the true meaning of skint.?
Yup, not having enough to buy food, or pay for heat and light. Having to send your child to school without the proper uniform and searching the house for pennies to buy food ( and i mean pennies as all pounds have been spent already)Does anybody know the true meaning of skint.?

you sound more upset that these people can do it and you might not be able to . perhaps these people would not be broke if they did not buy things or maybe just maybe there letting on there broke so you do not try to borrow and money
well,if you look up skint in the dictionary,it'll have my name next to it.i've got about 75p in my bank account,and a couple of quid in my pocket,and it's supposed to be lasting me till monday.
